Benign Neglect and The Nursing Shortage

Brian Klepper

Over at The Health Care Blog, I've just put up a post about the underpinnings of the nursing shortage. We all know its severe, but most of us don't realize that the roots of the crisis lie in the bottleneck of too few nursing faculty, and that it's a problem easily solved if we just put our minds to it.

As someone who has spent a lot of time burrowing into American health care's various difficulties, I have to say that this one is the dumbest and least excusable. Drop over there and let me know what you think.
