Mini-blog of the day: Calories stored in fat
A pound of adipose tissue (aka body fat) stores about 3500 calories. If follows, therefore, that to lose a pound of the jiggly stuff in a week, we must consume 500 fewer calories than we expend each day.
For a 140 pound person, walking one hour at 5 mph (pretty brisk pace) burns about this much. A MacDonald's Big Mac more than puts it back on...definitely food for thought.

nail on the head, I just don't think that people quite get it.
I'm not for sure how many people I've talked to concerning this very
thing in the past week, and they just can't get it.
I found this blog by searching on google. I'm quite excited I found it!
, Excellent post!
